Permanent Hair
Removal Survey
We thought you might be interested in participating in a
brief survey of which hair removal methods are most
popular. Our Hair Removal Survey is easy to take: Just
select the primary hair removal method that you use for your
unwanted hair and click on the "Vote Now!" button.
You will receive immediate results comparing how your method
compares to other survey participants. It's as easy as
that!
For your convenience, a list of the most common methods of hair removal are noted
below:
Laser Hair Removal (Permanent)
During this procedure, a small laser beam is used
to destroy the hair follicles. This method can be
effectively used for treating large body areas as well as
facial hair.
Electrolysis (Permanent)
The Electrolysis process treats each hair follicle
individually, by injecting a needle into the hair follicle and
subjecting it to an electric charge. Though this hair
removal method is still quite popular, it can be somewhat
painful and expensive.
Photo Epilation / Pulsed Laser
(Permanent)
Similar to laser treatments, this FDA approved hair removal
procedure utilizes a pulsed light beam to destroy the hair
follicles. This method is especially effective for removing
hair from the under arms and the bikini area.
Waxing (Temporary)
This is a popular method for removing facial hair and pubic
hair, but is less practical for larger areas. This method
is often associated with pain as the hair is literally ripped
out.
Hair Removal Creams (Temporary)
A host of over-the-counter hair removal products are
available and can be effective on a short term basis.
Shaving (Temporary)
This method of hair removal is inexpensive, fast, and
relatively pain-free. It tends to be only a short-term
solution to unwanted hair.
Plucking / Tweezers (Temporary)
This is another cheap and fast method for removing primarily
facial hair. Unfortunately, it can be painful and
time-consuming depending on how large an area is being
treated.
Hair Threading (Temporary)
This method is less popular than more convenient
alternatives, but is still offered as a viable hair
removal option.
