There are always exceptions to the rule but for the most part women want hair free under arms, bikini area and legs. It has become the norm for women to have little body hair. This is pretty easy for some women because they have very light hairs that do not show up easily unless illuminated. But for those women with dark hairs, the unwanted hair can prove problematic. This is especially true for areas that can cause embarrassment, such as hair found on the upper lip. Permanent hair removal is a solution but there is also another method to try. The method is using a hair removing cream.
That bottle of hair removing cream will do the trick to get rid of the hair. It works through the use of chemicals that get into the hair follicle and essentially melt the hair and cause it to detach. The upside is that you do not have to apply a hair remover cream often. The downside is that it is not a permanent hair remover. It also may not get every single hair. Sometimes you have to pull the remaining hairs out with a washcloth or tweezers. There really is not much pain involved.
Wait before you grab that bottle. There is something else to keep in mind when using cream depilatories. You could have an allergic reaction to the chemicals. It is important to perform a skin allergy test before you go slathering it on your entire body. A vicious rash in your groin area can be extremely bad. You definitely do not want to go around itching all of the time. A skin allergy test on your inner elbow will let you know how the chemicals react with your particular skin type. You should also know that no matter what fragrance the bottle claims, or rather lack of smell it produces, they all still smell like chemicals. Some just have the scent of flowers trying to mask the chemical smell. As well, if you choose this option, then you should speak to your doctor about the adverse affects that these chemicals may have on your skin over a prolonged period of use.
If you have made up your mind to use a hair removing cream, then it is absolutely essential for you to follow the directions completely. The directions are there for a reason. Do not attempt putting the cream on areas it is not designed for. You could wind up with a terrible outbreak or skin allergy. If you have a “sensitive” area you want to have the hair removed from, then it may be better to either shave or visit a hair waxing specialist.
